Eoin eventually got tired of all the vegan noms, so we headed to a real American barbeque joint I’d read good reviews of: Beale Street, located in Hongdae.
It’s pretty small, and very dimly-lit, with sort of uncomfortable tin chairs (though they do add to the atmosphere).
Eoin ordered a brisket sandwich and I, suffering from a momentary lapse in my meat-free commitment, had half of a pulled pork sandwich before handing the rest over to Eoin. Shame, shame, shame. We also shared a basket of pretty incredible, super crispy fries.
The beers were pretty darn good, too.
We passed this crazy-looking castle bar on the way to Beale Street, and meant to go in on our way back, but I guess one giant beer was enough for me.
